Blake Schicker

Owner and Lead Therapist

Blake Schicker is the dedicated owner and lead therapist at LIVE FULLY NOW Rehab and Wellness. His journey to becoming a leading figure in rehabilitation and wellness is deeply personal, shaped by his own experiences overcoming multiple traumatic injuries. Fractured spine, fractured skull and concussion, broken arm / wrist / nose. Through a rigorous process of self-healing and education, Blake transformed his own challenges into a powerful passion for helping others.

Blake’s expertise is rooted in a diverse and robust educational background. He holds multiple degrees from esteemed institutions, including Rutgers University, the University of Wisconsin, and the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine. His professional qualifications include board certifications in both OT and Acupuncture, a Master’s in Oriental Medicine, and extensive training in numerous “alternative” therapies… all reflecting his commitment to a holistic and integrative approach to wellness.

In recognition of his exceptional contributions, Blake was honored with the “Spirit of the Great Sage” award in 2023 for clinical excellence. This accolade underscores his dedication to advancing therapeutic practices and his unwavering commitment to his peers’ and clients’ well-being.

In addition to his clinical work, Blake has shared his knowledge and expertise as a guest lecturer at Dominican College, where he presented on craniosacral therapy and myofascial release to an audience of master’s-level occupational therapists. His lectures reflect his deep understanding of these advanced therapeutic techniques and his dedication to educating and inspiring fellow professionals.

Jennifer

Jennifer Hermans

Acupuncture, Physical Therapy

Jennifer Z. Hermans brings a rich and diverse background to her role in healthcare, blending her extensive experience in physical therapy with a deep passion for acupuncture. She earned her B.A. in Psychology in 2003 and embarked on a year-long volunteer commitment as a school counselor in the inner-city Catholic grammar schools of Chicago, IL. This experience honed her skills in working with diverse populations and reinforced her commitment to the healing profession.

Returning to New Jersey, Jennifer continued her career working with children and adults with developmental disabilities in both school and day program settings. Driven by a desire to expand her expertise, she pursued training in Physical Therapy and obtained her license in 2012. Since then, Jennifer has been a dedicated practitioner in orthopedic physical therapy, gaining extensive experience in multidisciplinary settings.

Jennifer’s journey into acupuncture began as a patient, where she was profoundly impressed by the wonderful results of the acupuncture treatments she received. This led her to transition into a new career as an Acupuncturist, where she continues to integrate her background in Physical Therapy with her new skills in acupuncture to provide holistic care to her patients.

Outside of her professional life, Jennifer enjoys a variety of hobbies including reading, hiking, cooking, and crocheting. She cherishes spending time with her husband, family, and friends, balancing her professional dedication with a fulfilling personal life.
